ALANNA 
PHILLIPS

Born and raised in Detroit, MI; Alanna Phillips eats, sleeps and breathes dance. She thrives when telling stories through movement that feeds the soul. From a young age Alanna knew she wanted to cultivate and share her love of dance with others. Honing in on her craft she obtained her B.A. in Dance and Communications from Western Michigan University. From her many different backgrounds she is very well rounded and can transition smoothly through all styles while adding her own flavor. As a performer, Alanna’s career includes work of Ohad Naharin, Rennie Harris, Ray Mercer, Jemel McWilliams and DeVaughn Ballinger and Brya Woods. In Detroit where she is currently located, she teaches children of all ages and has had the opportunity to perform at major venues and concerts including Mets Stadium, the Fox Theatre and the Palace, and for artists such as Saweetie, Lizzo and more!
